This year, from July 12-14, the School of Computer Science at Peking University organized a 3-day online summer camp for international students. 10 professors from different areas within the School of Computer Science were invited to give talks on their research during the 3-day event. Around 200 students signed up forthe summer camp. Shu Yang, the International Student Coordinator hosted the event.
In the morning of July 12, 2022, the summer camp was kicked-off by featuring a trailer of the School of Computer Science. Followed by the short video,the Dean, Zhenjiang Hu, joined virtually for the opening.

Afterwards, the 10 professors joined the opening by sharing a short introduction of themselves so that the students can get to know them better.
In order to enhance the interactivity of virtual events, 2 current international students at the School of Computer Science were invited as well. One Master student, Srbuhi Mirzoyan, from Armenia, and one PhD student, Jun Hoong Chan, from Malaysia. Both of them shared their experience studying at Peking University, either on-site or online, and answered questions from participants.
