Beijing Engineering Technology Research Center of Virtual Simulation and Visualization was founded in 2013, based on the school of electronics engineering and computer science, Peking University, and in cooperation with the school of physics, the college of engineering, and some enterprises in Beijing. The center focuses on key technologies of virtual simulation and visualization systems and equipment, which provides strong support to high-end applications.

The main research and development direction of the Center has the following three aspects:

(1) Rapid virtual simulation environment construction technology.

(2) Physics based simulation computing technology.

(3) Visualization technology.
